Welcome to our latest post! We're thrilled to share a detailed review from one of our career students, Charlotte Buttrick. She has taken her passion for style and transformed it into practical skills through our course, Personal Styling for a Career. If you would also like to turn your passion for fashion into the career of your dreams, read on to discover what she learned and her experience of the course.

A NEW START IN STYLING

Charlotte has been working as a fashion and style content creator for over seven years, but don't worry if you don't have any prior experience. The beauty of our course is that we teach you absolutely everything, so don't let a lack of experience deter you from training as a personal stylist. Back to Charlotte, though: despite her experience in creating fashion content, she had never formally studied personal styling or been taught how to address the unique needs of different body shapes and lifestyles. Our course offered her the opportunity to bridge this gap. She says, “In the Personal Styling for a Career course, I have gained the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be able to work with other women to help them with their wardrobe and dressing dilemmas.”

LEARNING AND LOVING THE PROCESS

One of the aspects Charlotte enjoyed the most was learning about different body shapes and how to dress them effectively. She highlights the revolutionary Hourglass Balancing Method® taught by our founder, Melissa, as a key tool in understanding how to create flattering looks for everyday women. Additionally, Charlotte has honed her skills in creating capsule wardrobes with new techniques and insights on how to tailor these for women at every stage of life in a way that suits their unique lifestyle.

FLEXIBILITY FOR FAMILY LIFE

The course is self-guided so you can complete it at your own pace, this worked really well for Charlotte and her young family. The flexibility of learning at her own pace without compromising family time has been a significant benefit. Now trained, Charlotte is setting up her online personal styling services, offering her the flexibility to work from home and manage her schedule around her family's needs. This aspect of the career is perfect for anyone looking for a professional path that works around with their lifestyle.

FROM LEARNING TO LAUNCHING

Charlotte is looking forward to applying her newfound knowledge and skills to set up her online personal styling services. “The course not only gives you the personal styling knowledge and tools you need,” she says, “but also advice and tips on creating your own business too.” This holistic approach ensures that our students are well-prepared to start their careers in personal styling.

LOOKING AHEAD

She's looking to the future and like many of you she wants to continue her professional development with a colour analysis course - watch this space is all we're going to say! Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she highly recommends the course to anyone thinking about a career in personal styling.

Charlotte’s journey from a fashion content creator to personal stylist exemplifies what our course aims to achieve: empowering you to turn your passion into a thriving career. Her success story is a testament to how the right course and support can pave the way for a fulfilling new career path.

We’re incredibly proud of Charlotte and all that she has achieved. If you’ve been thinking about exploring personal styling, take it from her: this course is your gateway to transforming your love for style into a professional success story. Follow Charlotte on Instagram
